2. How Your Data Is Stored

The foundation of the 1926 book It Works is deliberate focus and silent discretion (Rule III: "Do not talk to anyone about your plan"). Little Red enforces this at the architectural level:

• Local Device Storage: Your desires ("wants"), target dates, categories (thing, condition, quality, or service), completion states, notes, streak counters, and daily reading timestamps are written directly to local storage on your iPhone.
• No Server Architecture: Little Red operates without an application server or database backend. The native iOS shell ships with zero remote server URLs configured. The app functions completely offline without internet connectivity.
• No Cross-Device Sync: Because there are no remote servers, your list is not uploaded to any cloud service. It lives where you wrote it.

3. In-App Purchases (StoreKit 2)

Little Red offers an optional, one-time lifetime unlock ($19.99 USD; local pricing may vary by country or region) via Apple's native StoreKit 2 framework:

• Direct Apple Processing: All payment transactions are handled exclusively by Apple Inc. We never receive, process, or store your credit card information, bank account details, Apple ID credentials, or billing address.
• No Third-Party Paywall Services: Little Red does not integrate third-party billing, attribution, or purchase-tracking SDKs. Entitlements are verified directly between your device and Apple's App Store servers.
• Apple Privacy Policy: In-app purchases are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, available at apple.com/legal/privacy/.

4. Local Notifications & Reminders

The app provides optional daily reading reminders (morning, noon, and night):

• Device-Local Scheduling: Reminders are scheduled locally on your device using iOS's native UNUserNotificationCenter APIs.
• No Push Notification Servers: We do not operate Apple Push Notification service (APNs) servers for Little Red.
• Discreet Copy: Notification alerts provide gentle nudges toward your scheduled reading times. To protect your privacy from shoulder surfing, notification alerts never contain the words, titles, or contents of your desires.

5. Biometrics (Face ID & Touch ID)

The optional app lock feature allows you to secure your journal behind biometric authentication:

• Secure Enclave: Authentication is handled strictly through Apple's native LocalAuthentication framework.
• No Access to Biometric Data: Neither the app nor its developers can ever view, capture, or store your biometric scans, facial maps, or fingerprint images. The Secure Enclave only returns a cryptographic success or failure boolean to the app.

6. Data Deletion & Total Removal

You have complete control over your data at all times:

• In-App Reset: Inside the app under the Method view, tapping "Begin as if new" and confirming will immediately and permanently erase all wants, history, and reading entries from your device's storage.
• Uninstalling the App: Removing Little Red from your iOS device immediately and irreversibly deletes the application sandbox and all data stored within it.

7. Children's Privacy

Because Little Red does not collect or transmit any personal data whatsoever, the application does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13, nor does it collect information from any user of any age.
